The maps on this section were made by DEN Staffer RVMECH. RVMECH was on the EA Pacific team that created the Generals game, and he made some of the maps you see in the game. These maps can be used for either online play or skirmish against the computer, unless otherwise stated in the description section. If the map is a single player mission, it will state that. These maps are exclusive to CNCDEN.
  • Map below are for either the Generals game or the Zero Hour expansion. Make sure your downloading for the game ya want.

Zero Hour Expansion Maps Below

-Isle of White: Zero Hour Expansion ONLY. Mountains and a frozen river divide the land in this 2-player Snow map (with snow storm) set at night with a tint of blue. The river in the map appears to have ice over it as well as a thick layer of snow. You may need your game set to high detail to see this however. You'll also find two frozen ponds making up the landscape. There's adequate resources and tech structures to be discovered at various locations. Good amount of room to build and expand your base. Waves along the beach areas and icebergs offshore add interest and realism. Enjoy the map!

NEA-KA-NE: Zero Hour Expansion ONLY. The name of the map means 'Land of much water'. This is an exceptional 2-player Snow Map. Lighting is set for morning. The ground is rough and choppy, and light snow is falling. Beautiful mountains and a realistic looking crystal clear, very cold river separate the two base areas. The river runs from NorthEast to SouthWest forded by four old bridges and two train bridges. Note the unique color and "clean-clear" look of the river. A train runs around the outside of the map for the most part and is only seen in the NorthEast corner and SouthWest corner so as not to interfere with the player or AI player. The Supply Docks are located close to the player starting area with 60,000 in cash each. There are also several small supply piles scattered on each side of the map as well as various Tech Structures. Bridges have been coded so as to be indestructible. Your troops are allowed to use the train bridges...if you dare and your timing is good. Enjoy the map!

-Tobruk: Zero Hour Expansion ONLY. This is a 4-player asymmetrically designed map for online play, but can be used for skirmish games as well. Lighting is set for late afternoon, and the scenario is the deserts of North Africa. You'll find a variety of tech buildings spread about the map, and several small villages as well. Terrain is mountainous with a beach area located to the west. Adequate funds to build a good sized army. Good amount of room to build if utilized wisely. Enjoy the map!

-Arena del Sino: Zero Hour Expansion ONLY. This is a 4-player "tournament style" map, symmetrically designed with a unique layout. Lighting is set for night, and there's rain and lightning effects to set the mood. Each player starts out in an enclosed "baseball like" stadium area with adequate supplies to get you started. In the center of the map is an urban area loaded with supplies and tech goodies. If your playing in skirmish mode, be aware the AI will take advantage of the center city area. Excellent map that should bring ya hours of FUN!

-Forgotten Realm ZH: Zero Hour Expansion ONLY. This is an 8 player map made to simulate a stormy summer evening in the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico. There is rain and lightning effects that randomly go off every 2 to 7 minutes but are not annoying at all as they are short in duration. Comes complete with all the sounds and special effects to set just the right mood. Trees sway in the wind simulating a storm, etc. Check out the Mayan Pyramid in the center of the valley. Excellent detailing and another must have FUN map by the master map maker himself...RVMECH!

C&C Generals Maps Below

-War of 5 Flags: This is a CTF (capture the flag) map. Basically you have two options toward victory. First option is totally crush your opponent as in a normal game. Your second option is to capture all five flags placed around the map. First warrior to accomplish this is the VICTOR! Lighting is set for night in this well made a nicely detailed map. This map was intended to be used for online or lan games, but can be played in Skirmish mode against the computer. The AI has been scripted to attempt capture of the flags, and also includes the "Almost Human" AI scripting developed by RVMECH. Enjoy this cool map from the sultan of map making!

-CITADEL: This is the first ever C0-OP Mission for Command & Conquer Generals. Play along with a friend via an online or lan game, or go it alone in skirmish mode. In this mission you'll be up against a renegade Chinese General named Hong Kong Fooey. You and a friend can choose to play as either USA or GLA. Check the readme file for full mission details and instructions on how to use the co-op mission when playing online, Lan, or skirmish mode. Enjoy the mission!

-Mountain Fox - Repaired: This map was released by EA and included in the Generals patch V1.6. When it was released it was not setup for skirmish or multiplayer games. RVMECH added the starting waypoints, trigger areas, and attack paths. It is now set up for skirmish play. This is a 4-player map in a temperate setting. Nice layout and interesting use of textures. The scenario takes place during the afternoon in a rural setting with mountainous terrain. Several oil derricks can be found around the map.

Nuclear Tides GLA Mission-Nuclear Tides: Single Player Mission - Nuclear Tides attempts to simulate an underground facility. Your goal in this GLA mission is to guide your three GLA Rebels through a maze of nuclear cooling pools and various automatic defenses. Find the nuclear armaments facility and COMPLETELY destroy it. If you lose all three Rebels then you will have failed. There are four Tunnel Defenders hidden about the map in Key areas. These troops are expandable. Although they are not needed to defeat this scenario they are extremely helpful. You must use your brain to win...brute force won't do it in this situation. Good luck!

-Defend an Egg (USA): Single Player Mission - This is one of a series of map/missions RVMECH created for a US Army research team. In this mission USA (Blue Army) is pitted against USA (Red Army). The mission works on a timer setup. You can choose to defend or go into offensive mode. However you choose to fight will dictate how the game is played out. Check the included readme file for the full mission briefing. This mission has been altered somewhat from the original that RVMECH made for the Army research team. This is a scripted map, but opposing forces will attack randomly. That way each time you play the mission you can expect something different in the way of battles.

-Dry Gulch: This is a 4-player TEAM style map taking place in an arid western desert area during the early evening hours. Very nice use of textures in this map creating lots of eye appeal even on low graphic settings. Crates are scattered around the border areas and the map.ini file provides for 45,000 dollars per supply dock. There are two supply docks on each side as well as one in the north and one in the south. Skirmish players will receive a pair of Chinese Gattling Cannons as well as a Nuclear Power Plant to give them a head start against the AI as long as you choose either of the INSIDE starting points. These extra additions will not transfer when playing Multiplayer games. But this map can be used for online play regardless. This map includes RVMECH's latest version of his "Almost Human AI" that greatly enhances the AI when playing in skirmish mode.

-Water Works[AI]: This is a 6-player tournament style map taking place in the late afternoon on an island. Plenty of room to expand your base, and a medium amount of cash flow. The player starting areas are separated by fast moving water and land bridges. Because of the moving water and the associated animation the map may lag for low end machines when all six players have been selected. If this is the case then download "Water Wheel" below, which is the same map, minus the moving water. This map includes RVMECH's "Almost Human AI" that enhances the AI when playing in skirmish mode.

-Autum Nights[AI]: This is an 8 player tournament style map that was initially designed for EA by RVMECH and not used in the final game cut. It is quite large and has over 2500 objects in it as well as 4 large railroads that circle the map at regular intervals. The railroad cars can be garrisoned with troops and armored vehicles. Great way to transport your army around the battlefield! This map also includes RVMECH's "Almost Human" AI. Simply put, just about the closest you'll come to playing a real human...give it a try and see for yourself. Check the included readme file for full details on this super enhanced AI. Enjoy this map of excellence!

-Forgotten Realm[AI]: Now includes RVMECH's new script, "Almost Human AI"! This is an 8 player map made to simulate a stormy summer evening in the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico. There are lightning effects that randomly go off every 2 to 7 minutes but are not annoying at all as they are short in duration. Comes complete with all the sounds and special effects to set just the right mood. Trees sway in the wind simulating a storm, etc. Check out the Mayan Pyramid in the center of the valley. Comes complete with an enhanced AI and special scripting for great skirmish battles against the computer! Excellent detailing and another must have FUN map by the master map maker himself...RVMECH!

-Fire Island: This is a 2 player map taking place in the late evening on an island somewhere in the South Pacific. There's a live volcano and a river of lava flowing on this map...so tread lightly! Plenty of room to expand your base, and a medium amount of cash is available. The map was designed for the skirmish player in mind. Normally a battle against one brutal becomes boring after a fashion. This map is a bit different. Each faction has an enhanced AI in the brutal mode. Each faction has it's own separate script packages incorporated into the standard AI package. There are a few surprises so be wary. I doubt if you will be able to rush any of the brutal AI's and come out unscathed. Also take note that the USA Brutal does not use the "Hold The Line" strategy that is the standard but rather the "Bombardment " strat. Did I mention the birds?! NOTE: Map for Skirmish play ONLY!

-Dinah Don't Blow: This is a 4 player map taking place in the late afternoon in a temperate (warm) climate. Plenty of room to expand your base, and a medium amount of cash flow. The map contains two trains moving around the map that will cross the area directly in front of your base. Be careful, the train will destroy a squad of tanks and troops if they stand on the rails at the wrong moment.
