This section features scripts and editors you can use with the World Builder Map Editor that came with your Generals game.   

 

-Generals Editing Utilities: (thanks DeeZire)  DeeZire's small set of handy utilities for use in editing Generals based off original development tools. Includes WNDEdit, particle editor, script debugger, a fix for the 'Mesh Mold Tool' in the World Builder Editor that will allow you to create pre-fabricated terrain features on your maps such as ramps, bowls and hemispheres...useful in making things like volcanoes, etc. A few more useful goodies inside the zip download.

-Lightening FX Scripts: Created by RVMECH, these scripts will simulate lightening effects and rain sounds in the map you create with the World Builder Editor. Simply import the scripts into the civilian folder. Download comes with complete instructions.

-Almost Human AI Map Maker Kit: Includes the latest version of RVMECH's "Almost Human AI Script". This kit includes everything for the budding map maker to incorporate the newest version V1.6 into his or her map. It includes documentation and a basic flat map for inspection on the proper installation of the AI.

-Almost Human AI Mod Kit: This special kit is for fans that want to use RVMECH's "Almost Human" AI in any map. It comes with documentation, two .big files and a desktop shortcut for XP users. It incorporates the -mod command line. This will allow the use of both ai's, normal or RVMECH's AHAI, depending on whether the normal desktop shortcut or the AHAI shortcut are used. In other words, even if the map doesn't have the "Almost Human" AI scripted in it, this will allow you to play any map with this super enhanced AI by simply clicking on a desktop icon and enabling the AI. 
  • NOTE: Not all maps will work with the AHAI script. If the map's building area is too small at the player starting points, then the map will NOT be suitable for using the enhanced AI. It needs more room than normal AI to build.

-GENERALS ThudAI SKIRMISH Script V0.2: (Updated 5/6/03) Another script that you can use for your maps to enhance the AI for the game. Basically the AI will build more structures, attack and defend better, etc. The DEN's RVMECH provided some assistance and consultation to ThudAI in the making of this AI script. Comes with instructions and a complete listing of what to expect the AI to do.
