The maps below are made by DEN Staffer ZHaDuM. These maps can be used for either online play or skirmish against the computer, unless otherwise stated in the description section. They are all well designed maps of excellence.
  • To use the maps below, look in your computer for a folder named Command and Conquer Generals data\Maps. You'll find it in your "C:\My Documents" folder. If this directory doesn't exist, play a skirmish map and comeback. The folder should be there now.  Extract the COMPLETE FOLDER included in the map zip file into the C:\My Documents\Command and Conquer Generals data\Maps. Fire up the game, select "Unofficial Maps" and the map name, and you should be good to go. Enjoy the maps!

-Air War: [by ZHaDuM] Air War is a fast loading, uniquely designed two-player tournament style map made specifically for combat in the sky! Both players begin the game with an American and Chinese airfield. Ground forces face the additional challenge of only having one attack path. Two versions of this map are included in this release. Air War (1vs1) is for ONLINE play, and Air War (SP) is for skirmish mode. Both versions of the map employ RVMECH's deadly "Almost Human" AI which will offer a much more enjoyable game when fighting vs. the computer. Excellent and FUN map that's a must have! Check the readme file for full details on both versions offered. Screenshot 1 is from the ONLINE version, and Screenshot 2 is from the Skirmish version that is also a night map.

-Dreadly Pastures: [by ZHaDuM] This is a highly detailed 4-player unsymmetric map. Excellent use of texture blending. A beautiful map to behold. Players start surrounded by mountains but must venture outwards to gain mass amounts of wealth. At the middle of four main pathways you will find a respawning $100 crate that will reappear every 10 game seconds making these very hot and valuable spots to be. There are a few Oil Derricks scattered about the map as well as goodies crates. Check the mountains for da money. A map of excellence!

-Frostland Arena: [ZHaDuM] Frostland Arena is a highly detailed, moderately sized, moderately supplied tournament style map for up to 4 players. Features include "king of the hill" gameplay with several UN supply drops that will benefit those players willing to venture to the center! Two different versions of this map are provided with this release. "Scud War", the other version, has different start locations and is set in early morning with a capturable scud storm in each players start location. Super great online map, or use it for skirmish play and do some comp stompin!

-Lemon Drop: [by ZHaDuM.] This is a large 2-player map that is very unique in it's design. It won't appeal to everyone, but it IS fun to play on regardless. Basically it's a series of small islands, and you'll have to use several small islands to build a complete base. That's what makes things interesting. Although this map can be used for skirmish mode, it was intended as an ONLINE map. The AI doesn't perform well due to the layout of the map and the limited build space. Download comes with two versions of the map. Check the readme file for full details.

-Urban Dread: [by ZHaDuM] This highly detailed 4-player Temp/Urban map is a realistic recreation of ZHaDuM's childhood hometown on Long Island, NY. Details include a baseball field, 10 residential blocks, a parkway, river, commercial areas, beachfront property... GLA will enjoy hundreds of civilian cars to use. Ground troops can control over 100 residential homes. This map is full of eye candy and is one that's simply a must see and must play. Excellent team map due to the player positions. Many hours were spent on the making of this map, and gets a BIG THUMBS UP from the Lion. Don't miss this one! Simply put, a "map of excellence".

Z-ArenA: [by ZHaDuM] A uniquely designed 1 vrs 1 tournament style map that comes in both day and night versions. A good deal of thought went into the design and layout of this map so that it offers a diverse selection of attack and defense methods. Although small in size, expect long and furious battles if both players make it past the first few minutes!

-Dreadly Sins: [Created by ZHaDuM] This detailed Desert map is a fictional creation of a major terrorist stronghold located somewhere in the middle east. The town in the middle has lots of buildings to garrison. You also find supply piles and oil derricks nearby. Players start in the mountains on the outskirts of the town. This is a rather LARGE map, and those of you with low-end computers will have lag problems. But if your comp can handle the map, it's very fun to play on! Excellent team map for online play as well as skirmish mode.
