Zero Hour Scripts & Files

This section features scripts, editors, and various other files you can use with the Zero Hour World Builder Map Editor and the game.

 

-World Builder Editor Tutorials (Official): This is the official map/mod editor tutorials from EA Pacific for the editor that comes with the Generals/ZH Game. The tuts are in Adobe Acrobat .PDF format. You'll need to download Adobe Acrobat Reader in order to view .PDF files.

World Builder Editor Tutorials (by Fleetatks): This is a very good World Builder Editor Tutorial that explains in very easy terms how to create a map. Pictures are included. The tutorial is in Microsoft Word format, so everyone should be able to use it. Download it to your desktop, and you'll have it for a quick reference.

-Train Garrisoning Tutorial & .ini file: (thanks Richard Ball) This is a tutorial that will explain how to make your trains garrisonable on your Zero Hour maps. The download comes with step by step instructions, and a map.ini file you can use as well.

-Generals Editing Utilities: (thanks DeeZire)  DeeZire's small set of handy utilities for use in editing Generals based off original development tools. Includes WNDEdit, particle editor, script debugger, a fix for the 'Mesh Mold Tool' in the World Builder Editor that will allow you to create pre-fabricated terrain features on your maps such as ramps, bowls and hemispheres...useful in making things like volcanoes, etc. A few more useful goodies inside the zip download.

-ZH Script Pack: (thanks Headcracker) This script pack contains a variety of scripts you can use for your Zero Hour World Builder map projects. Among the scripts included are snow, rain, and lightning scripts by RVMECH, and various other scripts made by Headcracker that can be used for map and mission making.
