Realistic Sound Pack V1.6!: (By
Jason Knight) This is the updated sound pack as of (12/23/04).
Basically this is a modification for all of you Renegade players that want to make the game a little more enjoyable. And by more enjoyable I
mean louder gun shots, more explosive sounds, and all around a more realistic sound based environment.
Every sound is now upgraded in Sound Quality. Every Sound is
now 48hz-16bit. Cabal And Eva are now the 'in-game' voices
you will hear when announcing things such as when a certain building
is destroyed or comes under attack. Includes modified .wav files for replacing the sounds of
all of the weapons used in the game and many other game related
sounds. There are three versions
of the Sound Pack available below. The 'FULL' Sound Pack
also includes sounds for C4, Nuke and Ion Cannons, explosions, and
many other cool sound changes. There's also a version without Cabal
and Eva Voices added, and The 'Weapons Only' Sound Pack
contains just the sounds for the weapons changes only.

This theme is for 800x600 resolutions only. If you use 1024x768,
the sidebars will overlap into a little bit of white at the bottom.
Renegade "Boink"
Sound Replacement Pack!: This
sound pack includes 23 different .wav files you can choose from to
replace the "Boink" sound you hear in Renegade when you
kill your opponent. This sound pack is courtesy of CNCDEN staff
member Tolken. To turn these .wav files into "Boink" replacements, simply
choose one of the sounds you like, rename that .wav file to "Correction_3.wav" and
place the file in your Renegade Data folder, the same folder you
place Renegade skins into. When you want to return to the standard
"Boink" sound again, simply delete the .Correction_3.wav
file or rename it.
Rolk's CNC Sound
Pack!: This sound pack was created to bring back the original feel of Command & Conquer
to Renegade. It replaces many of the sounds for Renegade (amplified
and edited) such as the Mammoth Tank, Ion Beacon, Mini Gunners, and
lots more. Click here for a
sample sound. [Mammoth Tank] Just download the zip file, unzip
it, and place the sound files in your Renegade/Data directory. You can use
the new sounds online as well as single player/skirmish mode. Readme
file with instructions included with the download. Enjoy!
Multiplayer
Practice Map Cycle: This
is a modified .INI file. Download and place the file in your
Renegade/data folder. In multiplayer practice mode this file will
cause the game to cycle through all the maps available. Credit goes
to Maimer1 for making this file. Just place the .INI file in
your Renegade/data folder. Also gives you 4,000 credits when you
start.
